Project at PSHIA

As a Co-Chair for the ADOT DBE Construction Task Force Committee, Ignacio is an advocate for DBEs.
Saturn Concrete Construction attributes AMCA Membership to being instrumental in introducing the company representatives to key employees of Commercial General Contractors that have helped them grow their business.

“These types of introductions are valuable because otherwise, it is very difficult to get to meet these important contacts to present our businesses. The AMCA provides a great platform for subcontractors and General Contractors to get to know each other and learn about how to do business with each other. This process makes large, successful general contracting firms feel approachable and supportive.

Through these introductions to companies like Hensel Phelps and Skanska, Saturn was able to land an award with Skanska and Southwest Airlines at Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport (PSHIA) and bid for future award possibilities as well”.

In addition, as active AMCA members they participate in the workshops, seminars, and networking events that the AMCA provides, allows DBEs to broaden their knowledge and continue to build relationships with good local companies.
